Rooms that suit a coated floor
Shed conversions, studios, laundries, rumpus rooms and workshops all work well. The floor is seamless, so there is no grout to clean and nowhere for dust to collect, and it takes furniture and foot traffic without much thought.

Living with it
An interior floor gets looked at more closely than a garage floor, in better light, by people who are not wearing boots. We will talk through the finish and the level of sheen at the quote, because the same system can read very differently in a north-facing room than it does in a shed.

The coating is the visible layer. What decides whether it lasts is the slab underneath it — whether it was sealed, dusty, already coated, or moving moisture. Preparing it mechanically is how a system gets something real to bond to.

Can you coat over tiles or timber?
We coat concrete. Tiles and timber move in ways that coatings do not cope with, so if there is something over the slab we will tell you at the quote what the options are — in most cases the existing surface needs to come up first.
How long before we can use the room?
It depends on the system and the conditions on the day. We will give you the timeline in writing with your quote rather than a general figure here, because temperature and humidity genuinely change it.
